On the road near Chinatown where my office is, there are loads of restaurants and dozens upon dozens of bridal boutiques. The popular choice is to get a package deal; a wedding and a reception dress for her, with matching suits for him, plus a pre-wedding photo session to make a fancy large print album to amuse your reception guests before they enter the ballroom.
I’ve seen couples coming out of these bridal shops and into waiting cars to be whisked off to a pre-planned location come out of the boutique, walk to the central road divider and start posing. It’s either brutal frugality at its worst or brazen efficiency at its best.
I didn’t want to be "that guy" and get in the way of their photographer, who was crouched down by the side of the road, so I stood behind the tall bush that separated us and fired off a few shots. Hope their big day is awesome 🙂
