Seoul’s 2nd bike festival was held from September 24th to September 26th in downtown Seoul along Cheonggyecheon Stream and at Seoul Plaza. The festival promoting the use of bicycles among Seoul’s citizens had a number of programs including a bike parade where participants were encouraged to dress up in costumes or to ride novelty bikes, marriage bikes for ten couples, selected through prior applications, to ride and receive blessings from the crowd, as well as a film festival and a video contest centered around stories of Seoul’s bike sharing scheme, Ddareeungi.
