My Dad made this wooden jewelry box for me when I was a child, it used to play a tune when I opened it but not today & the key is lost. I rarely wear jewelry. It contains 2 pairs of Garnet earrings, a bracelet, a bangle, a pendant with no chain & my marriage ring that I took off in 2000 when I split up with my ex-husband.
It was my grandmothers marriage ring & it’s far too modest for me today so even if Martin & I do finally get married next year he’ll have to invest in a fresh one. We only met 18 years ago, you can’t rush these things lol. I’ll keep the ring safe for my daughter just in case? She’s got smaller hands.
